the year's coming to an end. fast eh?
and then, u think back on what u've done thru the whole year.
and i think, i prob can only count on 2 hands the no. of things i did to make God proud of me. OUCH.

today's sermon was almost like a kick in the butt.
but it always was like cold water splashed into my face.
which is good cuz then, now i'm awake. geddit?

and yes, what if i stumble? now i can answer: i get right back up and walk on.
the song says "forgetting what lies behind/setting our eyes on the prize".
it's so true ain't it? we don't look back cuz then, we'll just have our heads down in regret.
so we lift those chins up and walk on, in the Light.

i'm grateful that God doesn't disappoint. that He's a God who never lets me go.
cuz if He did, i won't know where i'd be now. aimless, without purpose for sure.
so let's hit the road and get our friends onto the same race as us! ((:
