#1 asked #2 to blog.
actually, i had alot of things to blog about during the week but i think i somehow forgot them all.
ANYWAY, it's been an ok week. school attachment still isn't as fun as i thought it might be. maybe cuz things just weren't as i expected. i mean, i never thought teachers there could actually look at me with suspicion (and some despise). i always thought i was an amiable person u know.
still, this has taught me to just keep at it. even if people just don't like u for some reason, smile back at them. after all, the Bible says it's like heaping burning coals on them. not that they're my enemies or that i see them as enemies, but well, u'd think that a school is place where there is compassion and respect. i'll think twice from now on.
i tried to make my Sec3 express students play "bladderdash".
rules of the game:
i give u (and ur groups) a word that i know u've never seen before and u're supposed to come up with some fakeO meaning tt u think is correct.
i collect back the meanings made up by the diff grps and i read them all out (in no particular order) including the one definition tt is correct.
then u take a vote for what u think the most correct definition is. pts goes to those who select the right one and those whose definitions get selected.
and so, i played this with them BUT guess what. it failed horrendously. they refused to listen, they were uninterested and they just went on talking to each other even when i was standing there. moral of the story? never make ur 1st lesson a game. eek.
