ya, really. i am. i really am amazed.
Meimiao, how did your worship leading session go? good? am sure you were great! YAY!
hey Meimiao, remember there was one morning (in aussieland) where we woke up (not *boohoo* morning, or was it?) and suddenly you said "i can see you standing and leading worship..." or smthg like that? heh. it just happened today. i mean of course i kinda knew abt leading worship way back in like 2002, where this new zealand band came to our P&P and they prayed for our musicians present. and the (i think) pastor of the group kinda prophesied over us and for me he just asked if i was a worship leader, and i said "no", and he said "well, it's coming..." and the "it's coming" came 2 years later... but there really was one point in time where i was wondering if God remembered telling me that (*duh*) and then i got my answer from James Singh who told me that God didn't forget what He has told me, and it'd happen.
well so today i led worship for the 1st time in 5000 years, and i had the jitters when i woke up. unlike school, this one cannot take MC. really scary actually (i know i appear to be fearless but i really am a meek lil' thing)... and believe it or not, my hands were shaking cos i was so nervous but i was ok after the 2nd song... (thank God i didn't faint) and thank God for people like Auntie Kum Lin and Uncle Choy, Uncle Ho, the Uncles and the Aunties, Jason, CHERYL and CHARLENE, etc who were very encouraging ppl to look at... (oh, if ur name's not here, chances are that you were encouraging me from behind, literally) and i really, really thank God for the way He moved today. it was awesome. and i just found out that this was the 1st time that our services overlapped cos God moved so mightily in tdy's service(s). all glory to God!
did u know i was supposed to give tuition at 10.30am tdy? but yday my student called to push it to a later time... i suppose i now know why... and i knew i wanted to sing "let Your Spirit come" like 2 weeks before i was supposed to lead... really, wow... God's really amazing...
Bao, Xiong, Punky... i know u guys read our blog. so this bit's for you. you guys are fantastic! and Ps Daphne too. aiyah. cannot list everyone down lah. it'll sound like some Grammy acceptance speech. but thanks!!! really appreciate you all! (everyone!)
and ya... am still really amazed. God is really, really awesome... (someday i'd like to smell the sweet aroma of the presence of God...)
but for now, im the only aroma im gonna smell, if there is, is the smell of my bed. ooh. tired (but still amazed) and slightly achy (too much of heels for a day) and needing my pi pa gao. haha.
